About me
I am a feminist activist and writer with a passion for storytelling that empowers women and girls. With a background in Sociology–Anthropology and Global Health and Human Rights, I spent over a decade working in maternal and reproductive health both in the U.S. and abroad—helping women bring babies into the world, and choose not to.
Today, I write scripts for the Aga Khan Foundation’s The Learning Hub, creating educational content that shifts how people see issues like gender equality, and diversity and inclusion. I am also a grant writer for the Global Fund for Women, helping raise funds that support feminist organizations worldwide.
I am a divorced mom of two incredible daughters, whom I have raised across Zambia, the United States, and now Italy. These experiences have shaped not only how I see the world, but also the stories I am driven to tell. At the heart of my work is a deep belief in the power of women and girls to build a more just and equitable future.
